Marshals response to Cuntina Sparkles
Dear listeners,
I recieved this comment to my libsyn page a couple of hours ago and thought it important for everyone to see:
How do you know I am white? Secondly, you should listen to Words words words... In that podcast I explain how I treat words in society. I treat "racial" words like "nigger" the same way that you call another man gay a "fag" or a "queen" when he is acting effemanite. Cuntina Sparkles is HIGH CAMP. It is used as a ridiculous parody. Sometimes the people that think I am an asshole are the ones that say it (ie: these words)in his or her real life but try and hide behind a shadow of being "politically correct" in public life. To those people: You are the real Cuntina Sparkles... you are the real assholes. I totally respect your comment and I respect you writing in to tell me you hated it, I always welcome critique.

I am the last one to be highly sensitive--but your Cuntina Sparkles was really fucked up. Your black brother/sister from the hell ravaged New Orleans with your "who is you" and "schlitz malt liquor" references and your attempt to sound black reminds me that racial insensitivity is alive and well among white gay men. Really not cool. Cuntina the "crackhead". What an asshole.

If you don't like things on the show, then tune in to a Walt Disney podcast, or some bible thumping show. Everyones entitled to their opinions. Do you find other shows offensive such as the one where a man portrays a lesbian? Do you think the lesbians are offended by a man portraying one of them? I don't think so. Leave your nasty comments to yourself andf let free speech reign. Peace out niggas. By the way motha fuckas I AM A BLACK FEMALE AND A FAN OF THIS SHOW.
Thank you for your kind words baby! Kisses where it itches! Make sure you email me sometime...
Amnesia! I finally found you! Gurl where you been? Thanks for your comments, well put. Email me sometime!
"Leave your nasty comments to yourself andf let free speech reign." That statement is heavy with contradiction. Erg. It's just criticism, sometimes it's best to listen objectively and then move on.
I'm concerned. Yes, the white sheet with the pointy hood can be explained away as just high camp. But the cross on fire is a little bit over the top, I think.
Besides, "How do you know Bernard's not white?" Or that he uses the kind of anti-gay language you claim he does? It's certainly easy to throw someone's criticism back at them and invent crimes the other person may not have even committed. It's harder to be introspective and look to see if one's jokes are more hurtful than funny.
Marshall said, "I totally respect your comment and I respect you writing in to tell me you hated it, I always welcome critique."
You can't be serious. Or maybe you mean you welcome critique only when it has not a word of criticism.
Eat me!
